June

It stopped raining and Jared and I had lofty dreams of going camping this year. We bought a few more piece of camping gear and had planned to go to Goblin Valley in Southern Utah. Then the plan changed to camping up Ogden Canyon, and as time got closer and I got real with myself it ended up being a backyard campout. With my hips and back hurting as bad as they do I couldn't sleep in the tent, but Jared and Ellie slept out there all night. She did so great and it gave us confidence that she will be up for camping next year.

We barbecued hot dogs and made smores, Ellie loved it...especially the smores.

A toddlers face after too much sugar. HAHAHA

Jared is always up for a wood working project so I decided to have him build a picnic table. I love being able to eat outside on nice summer nights. Jared did a great job.

I take belly pictures on Sunday's, it's the only day I really get ready. Hair, makeup and clothes other than lounge clothes.

Going to church has been tough for me, sitting in a hard chair in primary for 2 hours then sacrament for an hour is killing my back. I can hardly walk after church. I was just released from primary and they are rotating our schedule so sacrament meeting is first. At least I will be able to get through sacrament meeting now.

Ellie after an all day adventure with Aunt Naomi. She had such a blast going to the zoo, and I had the day to myself. If was such a nice break!

Pretty sure Rosie knows something is growing in my belly. She hasn't left my side lately.

Ellie is becoming such a great little helper. She loved helping at the counter. I let her use a butter knife to help cut soft vegetable and fruit. Here she is helping me make Naan bread.

I couldn't resist getting some sun on my belly and cooling down with Ellie in her pool.

We've been playing in the pool multiple times a week. Although the 100 degree weather the last few days is a little too hot for my liking. Hopefully it cools down a little for the rest of the summer.

A picture requested my Ellie. "Mom take a picture of me and Rosie."

May 2015

Despite what these pictures make it look like most of the month of May was filled with rain. We were stuck inside most of the month. We managed to plant a garden at the beginning of the month and then watched if get rained on from the window the next few weeks. We kept ourselves busy inside with crafts and lots of Netflix.

Jared built me a jewelry holder for mother's day

Finished this granny square blanket. I absolutely love how if turned out!

Ellie Lately

Having a three year old combined with being pregnant is not easy. I have less patience than normal and Ellie is a crazy three year old (there is no explanation for three year olds). I haven't felt like doing anything fun or creative with Ellie, which makes me feel guilty, but I'm pregnant and this wont last forever. We have been watching a lot of netflix, and playing outside when the weather permits. We try to walk to the park, Ellie likes riding her bike and I get some good exercise. Ellie helped me plant our garden this year, she loved looking for worms and putting seeds in the ground. She is absolutely my shadow these days. She follows me everywhere! If I get up to go to the bathroom, she follows. Go downstairs to switch over laundry..."I come too mom!" It drives me pretty crazy but I try to remind myself that it isn't going to be just me and Ellie very much longer. I'm trying to appreciate this time with her, even with all the elbow jabs to the ribs.

I can't believe how big she is getting and how much she is changing

She talk constantly, I wish I cold remember all the funny/random things she says, but I literally can't keep track.

She learned to cross her eyes somehow and does what we call funny face.

She says "Ah Snap" I think she learned that from her uncle Isaac.

Her hair is getting so long, we curled it for church last Sunday.

Starting to hold a pen and pencil with much more confidence, drawing a flower and pretending to write recipes while I bake.

Requesting Jared sing her Lion King songs for bed time.

Helping me at the counter with most things, she loves her step stool.

She thinks she has a baby in her belly too, and she says we should name the baby "Sister" or "Beth"

Ellie making funny comments about my pregnant body ( reminder that she follows me everywhere, even when getting dressed, etc.)

Ellie continues to amaze me. She is so smart, funny, and beautiful. I can't wait to see her sister, I have a feeling we are going to have a mini Ellie on our hands.
