October was the busiest month! My parents came to town to experience what a real Fall looks like. We did all sorts of stuff. Made cookies, went to the Aerospace Museum at Hill Air Force Base, drove Guardman's Pass again, Visited with Grandpa Dee and Grandma Jeanie, went to the pumpkin patch, planted bulbs, sewed, and talked and laughed and ate good food!
The rest of the month was filled with more family. We watched Jack for a few days. We had numerous photo shoots that of course I accompanied Jared on. I can't turn down an opportunity to drive up American Fork Canyon. We tried to get out and enjoy the fall colors as much as we could, we raked the leaves on our front lawn. We have a front lawn with a pile of leave. That is basically a dream come true!
Ellie is potty trained!! It finally clicked. I have been really proud of her. We haven't had as many accidents as I would have thought, and she is doing a really good job of communicating to me when she needs to go. She has received numerous rewards for peeing on the potty. She got a new bike that she calls her "Otto bike" after her friend Otto.
We did a few lighting projects on the house. Jared is now an electrician ;). He installed can lights and a new light fixture over out kitchen table. One was easier and less stressful than the other, I'll let you guess :).
We got to go to a Jazz game with a bunch of Jared's mission companions. We got to sit in a suite, it was a really fun night. I wish I knew who was actually playing for the Jazz right now, it may have been a little more exciting of a game. We had amazing company though. I'm biased but I think Jared has the best mission companions. They have such a special relationship. Maybe it was because their mission was SO foreign. I love his Mozambique family.
Now here is a bunch of photos, enjoy!
