January 2018

After coming down from the high of the Holidays we always find ourselves needing a few outings, a trip and a refresh.

We visited the nursery, which is always so refreshing, it green and warm and we adopted a few new plants.

A new painting project, a nice change of pace from all the houses I painted for the holidays.

Sun and no snow calls for playing outside, even if its cold.

Weekend outing to the airplane museum.

Pedicures with Ellie. She was treated like a queen, ate lots of candy and even got a flower painted on her big toe.

Dinner in front of the tv after a long day

Ellie using her new kids knives, totally kid friendly. They are awesome!

Headed out to Salinas to see my parents in the midst of winter and before I was too pregnant.
Ellie got a new suitcase for the trip, and was most excited to get Jamba Juice at the airport.
Our flight was delayed a few hours so we ate McDonalds and I tried not to loose my cool with the kids.
We arrived in San Jose to Grandma and Papa with exhausted kids.

Went to the Aquarium, the kids loved it until Ellie got motion sickness and felt really sick. It must have been all the movement from watching the fish swim. Poor thing didn't look good and right when we got home to my mom's house she puked right inside the front door. Luckily it wasn't a stomach bug.

We had a fun group. Grandma, Aunt Lynsie, Cousin Oliver, Uncle Will and Stephen and Aunt Lisa.

Any time we spend the day at the beach is a good day. We didn't bring swim suits and didn't expect the weather to be as nice as it was. The kids had a blast getting their feet wet and digging in the sand. Perfect day.

Hanging out with Oliver at Uncle Ross's house.

The kids playing with my childhood toys!

Headed back to Utah ready for a few new projects. Friday night visits to the hardware store.

Painted just one wall and added these baskets, Love it!

Walking to school in January, i'll take it.
