Lucy turns 2.
2 year old photo shoot at the Botanical Garden, wearing a dress made by Grandma.
She looks so little still, mostly due to her lack of hair.
Tried my hand at piping frosting, it was way to much cake for the 4 of us but it was fun for me to play around and make rosettes.
Cooled down enough for a few hikes. Lucy has turned into quite the hiker. We loved the Green Pond trail just a few blocks from our house. The trail takes us to a fresh water spring, it's a perfect little round trip for the kids.
Hitting up the fruit stand for some fresh peaches and honey sticks of course. Quickly becoming a late summer tradition for us.
Miss Ellie started soccer and she rocked it her first game. Her team was the Purple Flash Raptors. She learned a lot during the Fall season, definitely learned to be a little more aggressive and go for the ball. We are excited to see how she does during the Spring. One thing is for sure, she has hustle. We are proud of her and I've already become the parent freaking out on the sidelines when she scores a goal.
Walking to and from school is one of our favorite times of day. Lucy usually rides her trike during pick up.
An afternoon visit with Grandma Mary. Playdoh and Pumpkin bread, a good time had by all.
Jared headed down to Escalante to spend a few days with Grandma and Grandpa. He was in Heaven. Hiking, talking, flying the drone. I'm so glad he got to go spend some one on one time with them and get a tour of Escalante by Grandpa who knows the area so well.
Anniversary, 8 Years!!
